Aprotinin
Mechanism of action:
Aprotinin is a serine protease inhibitor. Aprotinin reversibly inhibits multiple serine proteases, including trypsin, chymotrypsin, kallikrein, and plasmin. Its main function is to inhibit plasmin activity, thereby reducing fibrin degradation and suppressing fibrinolysis.
