Guaifenesin/Glyceryl guaiacolate


Mechanism of action:

Guaifenesin currently has an unclear molecular mechanism. It is only known to increase the water content of respiratory secretions, making thick mucus less viscous and reducing its adherence to the walls of the respiratory tract.
