Molindone


Mechanism of action:

Molindone is an indolone derivative. Molindone primarily antagonizes dopamine D₂ receptors in the mesolimbic pathway, reducing the aberrant salience caused by excessive dopamine signaling, thereby decreasing delusions and hallucinations.
