Pentoxyverine/Carbetapentane citrate


Mechanism of action:

Pentoxyverine is a non-opioid antitussive agent. The mechanism of action of Pentoxyverine remains unclear, but it is known to act on the cough center in the medulla, raising the cough reflex threshold and reducing responsiveness to stimulation.
