Trimipramine

Mechanism of action:

Trimipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant and a dibenzazepine derivative. It mainly antagonizes central H1 histamine receptors and 5-HT2A/5-HT2C receptors, thereby producing sedative and anxiety-reducing effects. Its inhibitory effects on the serotonin transporter and norepinephrine transporter are relatively weak.
