Ciclesonide

Ciclesonide 是一種吸入型皮質類固醇（inhaled corticosteroid）。Ciclesonide 被吸入後，在呼吸道上皮細胞內被羧酸酯酶（carboxylesterase）轉化成活性代謝物 des-ciclesonide，能與細胞內的糖皮質激素受體（glucocorticoid receptor，GR）結合，調控多種基因轉錄，促進抗發炎基因（如 annexin A1、IL-10、IκB-α）的表達，抑制發炎相關基因（如 IL-4、IL-5、IL-13、TNF-α）的表達。
