Dexmethylphenidate

Dexmethylphenidate 是一種中樞神經興奮劑（central nervous system stimulant），具有正腎上腺素-多巴胺回收抑制性（norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibition），屬於哌啶羧酸類（piperidine carboxylate）衍生物，是派醋甲酯（methylphenidate）的 (R,R)-對映異構體，具右旋光性。Dexmethylphenidate 能抑制神經突觸前的正腎上腺素轉運體（norepinephrine transporter）與多巴胺轉運體（dopamine transporter）活性，阻止正腎上腺素和多巴胺回收進入突觸前神經元，而強化對突觸後神經元作用，進而增強注意力、專注力與衝動控制相關的中樞神經功能。
