Nalidixic acid
萘啶酸
Mechanism of action:
Nalidixic acid 是一種第一代喹諾酮類（first-generation quinolone）衍生物。Nalidixic acid 能與 DNA 旋轉酶（DNA gyrase，細菌的拓撲異構酶 II，topoisomerase II）複合體結合，阻止該酵素重新連接 DNA，導致細菌 DNA 斷裂。Nalidixic acid 也會部分抑制拓撲異構酶 IV（topoisomerase IV）的活性，使細菌 DNA 無法正確分離與複製。
