Albiglutide
Mechanism of action:
Albiglutide mimics the function of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). By binding to GLP-1 receptors on pancreatic β cells, it enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion while also suppressing glucagon release, delaying gastric emptying, and reducing appetite.
