Aminocaproic acid

Mechanism of action:

Aminocaproic acid is an antifibrinolytic agent. It is a lysine analog that competitively binds to the lysine-binding sites on plasminogen and plasmin, thereby inhibiting plasmin-mediated fibrin degradation.
