Betrixaban

Mechanism of action:
Betrixaban is a factor Xa inhibitor. Betrixaban reversibly inhibits the activity of factor Xa, preventing the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin, thereby inhibiting fibrin formation and ultimately reducing the likelihood of thrombus formation.
