Calcium phosphate

Mechanism of action:

Calcium phosphate provides Ca²⁺ and PO₄³⁻, which are absorbed in the small intestine, with absorption efficiency influenced by gastric acid and vitamin D. After absorption, Ca²⁺ and PO₄³⁻ are utilized in a variety of cellular metabolic processes and in skeletal mineralization.
