Dalteparin
Mechanism of action:
Dalteparin is a low molecular weight heparin. Dalteparin binds to antithrombin III and enhances its inhibitory effect on coagulation factor Xa. This ultimately reduces the formation of fibrin and prevents thrombus formation.
