Diclofenac


Mechanism of action:

Diclofenac is a phenylacetic acid derivative. It inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX), including both COX-1 and COX-2, thereby reducing prostaglandin production and ultimately decreasing prostaglandin-mediated inflammatory signaling and pain sensitization.
