Doxepin


Mechanism of action:

Doxepin is a tricyclic antidepressant. Doxepin primarily inhibits the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine, increasing their concentrations within the synaptic cleft. This helps regulate central neurotransmission involved in mood and anxiety.
