Enoxaparin


Mechanism of action:

Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin. It binds to antithrombin III and enhances its inhibitory effect on factor Xa. As a result, factor Xa can no longer convert prothrombin into thrombin, interrupting the downstream formation of fibrin and reducing the likelihood of thrombosis.
