Ethambutol

Mechanism of action:
Ethambutol inhibits arabinosyl transferase in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, preventing arabinose from being incorporated into cell wall polysaccharides. This disrupts proper cell wall assembly and makes the cell wall incomplete and unstable.
