Filgrastim

Mechanism of action:

Filgrastim is a recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor and belongs to the class of hematopoietic growth factors. When filgrastim binds to the receptor for granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), which is primarily found on neutrophils, it activates intracellular signaling pathways including JAK-STAT, MAPK, and PI3K-AKT, thereby promoting the proliferation and differentiation of neutrophil precursor cells.
