Ibuprofen


Mechanism of action:

Ibuprofen is a propionic acid derivative. Ibuprofen inhibits cyclooxygenase, including COX-1 and COX-2, preventing the conversion of arachidonic acid into prostaglandins and thereby reducing pain, inflammation, and fever.
