Meloxicam

Mechanism of action:

Meloxicam is an oxicam derivative. Meloxicam inhibits cyclooxygenase, including COX-1 and COX-2, thereby preventing the conversion of arachidonic acid into prostaglandins and reducing prostaglandin-mediated inflammatory signaling, pain sensitization, and fever responses.
