Methylenedioxymethamphetamine

Mechanism of action:

Methylenedioxymethamphetamine is a phenethylamine derivative. Methylenedioxymethamphetamine enters neurons and acts on the serotonin transporter, switching it from "reuptake mode" to "reverse transport," which causes a large release of serotonin into the synaptic cleft.
