Moclobemide

Mechanism of action:

Moclobemide is a reversible monoamine oxidase A inhibitor. Moclobemide reversibly and selectively inhibits monoamine oxidase A, thereby reducing the breakdown of serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine (NE), increasing their concentrations in the synaptic cleft, and prolonging the duration of neurotransmitter action.
