Mosapride

Mechanism of action:

Mosapride is a 5-HT₄ receptor agonist. Mosapride mainly acts on 5-HT₄ receptors in the enteric nervous system, stimulating enteric nerve terminals to release acetylcholine. This subsequently promotes smooth muscle contraction, increases lower esophageal sphincter tone, and enhances coordinated contractions of the gastric antrum and duodenum.
