Nadroparin

Mechanism of action:
Nadroparin is a low molecular weight heparin. Nadroparin binds to antithrombin III and enhances its inhibitory effect on factor Xa, preventing factor Xa from promoting thrombin generation, that is, reducing the efficiency of converting prothrombin into thrombin. This blocks subsequent fibrin formation and prevents thrombosis.
