Neomycin

Mechanism of action:

Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. Neomycin irreversibly binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and disrupts the correct reading of mRNA, causing incorrect amino acids to be incorporated into proteins and producing abnormal or nonfunctional proteins.
