Nevirapine

Mechanism of action:

Nevirapine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Nevirapine binds to an allosteric site on the HIV reverse transcriptase enzyme, causing a conformational change that abolishes its enzymatic activity and prevents the reverse transcription of viral RNA.
