Omalizumab

Mechanism of action:

Omalizumab is an anti-IgE IgG1 monoclonal antibody. Omalizumab specifically binds to the Cε3 region of IgE, preventing IgE from binding to FcεRI receptors on mast cells or basophils and thereby suppressing the initiation of allergic reactions.
