Pegfilgrastim

Mechanism of action:

Pegfilgrastim is a synthetic granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, or G-CSF. Pegfilgrastim binds to the G-CSF receptor on neutrophils and activates pathways such as JAK-STAT, PI3K-AKT, and MAPK/ERK, significantly increasing both the rate and number of neutrophil production.
