Phenindamine

Mechanism of action:
Phenindamine is a first-generation H₁ antihistamine and an ethylenediamine derivative. Phenindamine binds to the histamine H₁ receptor and prevents histamine from acting on it, thereby reducing histamine-induced vasodilation, capillary leakage, nasal mucosal edema, and itching.
