Prochlorperazine


Mechanism of action:

Prochlorperazine is a phenothiazine derivative. Prochlorperazine mainly antagonizes D2 receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) of the medulla, thereby suppressing initiation of the vomiting reflex.
