Propafenone

Mechanism of action:

Propafenone is a class IC sodium channel blocker. Propafenone binds to voltage-gated Na+ channels on the membrane of cardiomyocytes, markedly reduces the phase 0 depolarization rate, and significantly slows cardiac conduction, while having a relatively small effect on action potential duration.
