Reboxetine

Mechanism of action:
Reboxetine is a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Reboxetine binds to the norepinephrine transporter on the presynaptic neuronal membrane and blocks the reuptake of norepinephrine from the synaptic cleft into the nerve terminal. This increases norepinephrine concentration in the synaptic cleft and enhances its effects.
