Streptokinase

Mechanism of action:

Streptokinase is a thrombolytic agent (thrombolytic agent) and a non-enzymatic plasminogen activator (non-enzymatic plasminogen activator). Streptokinase binds to plasminogen in the blood to form a streptokinase-plasminogen complex. This complex induces plasminogen to convert into plasmin, which can degrade the fibrin meshwork in thrombi, fibrinogen, and clotting factors V and VIII.
