Suramin


Mechanism of action:

Suramin is a polysulfonated naphthylurea compound. Its precise mechanism of action remains unclear, but it is known to inhibit enzymes involved in glycolysis in Trypanosoma brucei, as well as ATP utilization and production pathways, DNA polymerase, and RNA polymerase.
