Tenoxicam

Mechanism of action:

Tenoxicam is an oxicam derivative. Tenoxicam inhibits cyclooxygenase, including both COX-1 and COX-2, thereby blocking the conversion of arachidonic acid into prostaglandins and reducing prostaglandin-mediated inflammatory signaling, pain sensitization, and fever responses.
