Tinzaparin

Mechanism of action:
Tinzaparin is a low molecular weight heparin. Tinzaparin binds to antithrombin III and enhances its inhibitory effect on coagulation factor Xa. This ultimately reduces fibrin formation and prevents thrombus formation.
