Tiotropium


Mechanism of action:

Tiotropium is a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist. Tiotropium competitively blocks M3 muscarinic receptors on bronchial smooth muscle, thereby inhibiting acetylcholine-induced bronchial smooth muscle contraction.
