Valdecoxib


Mechanism of action:

Valdecoxib is a selective COX-2 inhibitor. It primarily inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2)-mediated conversion of arachidonic acid into prostaglandins, thereby reducing prostaglandin signaling associated with inflammation, pain sensitization, and fever.
