Asparaginase
門冬醯胺酶
Mechanism of action:
Asparaginase 的主要作用是催化血液中的天門冬醯胺(L-asparagine)水解為天門冬胺酸(L-aspartic acid)與氨(NH₃)。此反應會造成血中天門冬醯胺含量大幅下降,由於特定腫瘤細胞(如急性淋巴性白血病細胞,acute lymphoblastic leukemia)缺乏天門冬醯胺合成酶(asparagine synthetase),無法自行合成,因此對於高度依賴外源性天門冬醯胺生長的腫瘤細胞會造成生長受到抑制。
