Mupirocin

Mechanism of action:

Mupirocin 是一種假單胞菌酸（pseudomonic acid）衍生物。Mupirocin 能高度選擇性地阻斷細菌的異白胺醯-tRNA 合成酶（isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase），使異白胺酸（isoleucine）無法接上 tRNA。細菌便無法正常延長蛋白質鏈，導致蛋白質合成停止，細菌生長受抑。
