Mechanism of action:
Atosiban 是一種催產素受體拮抗劑（oxytocin receptor antagonist）。Atosiban 能競爭性阻斷催產素（oxytocin）與子宮平滑肌細胞表面的催產素受體結合，而阻斷 Gq/11 蛋白偶聯的催產素受體活化，減少細胞內 IP₃ 以及抑制 Ca²⁺ 釋放到細胞質，使子宮平滑肌鬆弛。
