Mechanism of action:
Belinostat 是一種組蛋白去乙醯酶抑制劑（histone deacetylase inhibitor），屬於表觀基因調控分子（epigenetic modulator）。Belinostat 能可逆性抑制多種組蛋白去乙醯酶（HDAC I、II、IV 類），使組蛋白乙醯化程度上升，致染色質結構鬆散，提高部分基因（包含抑癌相關基因）表達的可能性，也能影響細胞週期調控基因的表達。
