Benztropine

Mechanism of action:
Benztropine 是一種抗膽鹼（anticholinergic）劑，同時具有抗組織胺 H1 與輕度的多巴胺回收的抑制作用。Benztropine 為 M1 中樞性毒蕈鹼型乙醯膽鹼受體（muscarinic acetylcholine receptor）的拮抗劑，當阻斷 M1 受體後，能抑制乙醯膽鹼過度興奮，調節乙醯膽鹼與多巴胺之間的平衡，影響震顫與肌張力異常相關的神經路徑。此外，benztropine 可輕微抑制多巴胺轉運體（dopamine transporter），減少多巴胺的回收，增加突觸間多巴胺濃度，影響帕金森病相關症狀的神經傳導。
