Bimatoprost
貝美前列腺素
Mechanism of action:
Bimatoprost 是一種前列腺素 F₂α（PGF₂α）的衍生物。Bimatoprost 能活化睫狀肌（ciliary muscle）與房水通道的前列腺素 F 受體（prostaglandin F receptor），進而改變細胞外基質（extracellular matrix）結構，降低流出阻力，房水經鞏膜流出增加。此外，也可能影響房水經許萊姆氏管（Schlemm's canal）的排出。Bimatoprost 也是透過前列腺素 F 受體調節毛囊細胞相關增生與分化。
