Bromhexine

Mechanism of action:

Bromhexine 是一種黏液溶解劑，來源於鴨嘴花（Adhatoda vasica）的鴨嘴花鹼（vasicine）。Bromhexine 在體內會轉為活性代謝物 ambroxol，並可能透過影響呼吸道分泌與黏液性質（如黏液的黏稠度與清除效率），促使黏液中高分子成分的物理性質改變，使高黏度分子變為低分子量物質。
