Carbidopa

卡比多巴

Mechanism of action:

Carbidopa 是一種芳香族L-胺基酸脫羧酶抑制劑(aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase inhibitor,AADC inhibitor),通常與左旋多巴(levodopa)併用,主要功能是防止左旋多巴在外週組織被過早代謝,提升左旋多巴進入中樞神經系統的量。左旋多巴是多巴胺(dopamine)的前驅物,若在外週組織被 AADC 轉化為多巴胺,就無法穿越血腦障壁進入腦內,可能造成噁心、嘔吐、心律不整、低血壓等外週組織的副作用。Carbidopa(無法穿越血腦障壁)能抑制外週組織的 AADC 酵素活性,讓左旋多巴能夠進入中樞神經系統後再轉化成多巴胺。
