Caspofungin

Mechanism of action:
Caspofungin 是一種棘白菌素類（echinocandin）衍生物，屬於 β-(1,3)-D-葡聚糖合成酶抑制劑（β-(1,3)-D-glucan synthase inhibitor）。真菌細胞壁主要成分之一為 β-(1,3)-D-葡聚糖，是由 β-(1,3)-D-葡聚糖合成酶催化合成。Caspofungin 與該酵素的 Fks1p 亞基結合，抑制酵素活性，之後細胞壁變得脆弱、滲透性上升、使真菌細胞較易受損並喪失生長能力。
