蓖麻油

Mechanism of action:

Castor oil 是一種植物油，主要從蓖麻（Ricinus communis）的種子中冷壓提取而得，它的主要瀉藥活性成分是蓖麻酸（ricinoleic acid）。Castor oil 本身為非活性前驅物，進入小腸後由胰脂酶（pancreatic lipase）水解生成蓖麻酸，之後可刺激小腸黏膜與腸肌神經叢（myenteric plexus），導致腸蠕動增加、水分與電解質分泌增加、鈉離子與水吸收被抑制，使糞便體積增大、含水量增加，促進排便。
