Mechanism of action:
Cevimeline 是一種選擇性毒蕈鹼型乙醯膽鹼受體促效劑（muscarinic receptor agonist），主要作用於 M₁ 與 M₃ 受體。Cevimeline 會活化神經系統的 M₁ 受體，增強副交感神經節的乙醯膽鹼反應，刺激腺體分泌、平滑肌收縮。 對於唾腺與淚腺等外分泌腺體的 M₃ 受體，能刺激唾液、淚液等分泌。
