Chenodiol

鵝去氧膽酸

Mechanism of action:

Chenodiol 也就是 chenodeoxycholic acid，本身就是人體的一種膽汁酸。外源性 chenodeoxycholic acid 會改變膽汁酸組成，使膽汁中 chenodeoxycholic acid 比例上升、膽酸（cholic acid）比例下降，進而降低膽汁中膽固醇的飽和度，使已形成的膽固醇結晶逐漸溶解。此外，chenodeoxycholic acid 也可透過負回饋機制抑制肝臟中膽固醇7α-羥化酶（cholesterol 7α-hydroxylase）活性，減少內源性膽汁酸生成。
